Check out this interesting twist on the Katy Perry hit “Wide Awake” performed by Dewun Music featuring Gael Boom.

We liked this visual conceptualization of the runaway hit.  We’ve touched on the religious symbolism of Perry’s original song, where the artist discusses fighting out of a Lion’s den, specifically, but Dewun and Gael take that to the next level in their cover.  Definitely love seeing artists step outside the bounds and try new things, no matter the genre. Can’t wait to see /hear more from these young artists on the rise.
